And on Wednesday the Rebel Heart singer shared a photo to Instagram of the siblings with two of her other children: Mercy and David, both aged 11. Not present were her eldest kids Lourdes, 20, and Rocco, 16.
The 58-year-old Grammy winner captioned the image: ‘Pajama Game on… The Revolution of ♥️ starts at home!’ She added four smiley faces.
The adorable pair sat beaming ear to ear in the fore of the pic, dressed in matching white butterfly pajamas.
Behind them, smiling even more broadly, was their new older brother and sister, David Banda and Mercy James.
Just weeks ago the singer announced via Instagram that she had once again adopted from the African nation – this time a set of twins.
David was the first to join the family from Malawi in 2004; Mercy also Malawian – came along three years after that.
On Wednesday Madonna also posted a throwback pic to two weeks ago, when she traveled to Malawi to meet the girls.
‘Already Missing this beautiful place!’ she wrote. ‘The Warm Heart of Africa.’
The singer is also the birth mother to 20-year-old Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon, whom she had with Carlos Leon, and son Rocco Ritchie, 16, from her marriage to Guy Ritchie.
Esther and Stella’s mother died five days after giving birth due to complications from a Cesarean section in August 2012.
Their father, Adam Mwale, was unable to cope and handed them over to an orphanage.
He has now claimed he was misled as he thought his children would be returned to him one day.
